On Monday, May 26, The Ashbury College Golf Classic 2014 was held at the Gatineau Golf & Country Club where Natalie Beauchamp, RJR’s CFO/Operations Manager, participated in the tournament as a guest of the Ottawa Senators. The Ashbury College Golf Classic is a fundraising event held to generate scholarships for current and potential students who would not otherwise be able to attend the school.
Ashbury College believes that no child should limit their educational opportunities based on financial considerations. Ashbury’s goal over the next three years is to see their scholarship fund grow to $500,000, as every year, over 10% of their students receive financial assistance of some form.
It was a beautiful day for golf and RJR was happy to contribute towards the scholarship fund to help provide students with the opportunity to attend the College and continue their education.
