BMC is releasing BMC Client Management Version 12.8 to continue adding customer value.
In addition to existing integrations with Smart IT, Digital Workplace, Remedyforce, FootPrints, and Track-it!, the BCM 12.8 release introduces new functionality and enhancements to existing capabilities based on customer feedback.
Highlights of this release include:
- New remote control on request capability to provide remote control for users without the BCM agent installed
- New security checklist to help customers ensure they have enabled the security levels they want
- Enhancements to operational rules, patch management, and centralized credentials
- FIPS-140-2 support for federal government customers
