Robert Beauchamp, President & CEO
Robert founded RjR Innovations in 2004. Under his leadership, the company has experienced steady and consistent year-over-year growth with at least a 140% growth in top line revenue—in one year alone, RjR grew 800% in top line revenue. Robert continues to be involved with many of the day to day business activities. He is a visionary who is hands-on with the development and evolution of RjR’s proprietary software. Robert also provides guidance to RjR’s team of Consultants as a mentor.
Before founding RjR Innovations, Robert worked at Sceptre Advanced Business Solutions and was responsible for managing 14 consultants, delivering an average of $3.5 million in annual professional services revenue. He also guided the development of a professional consulting team during a time of tremendous revenue and employee growth.
High in demand as a professional speaker, Robert presented at many prestigious events such as the North America ITIL Road Show Conference hosted by Pink Elephant (the world’s leader in IT management best practices); he was the keynote speaker at Foire Technologique hosted by the Montreal chapter of the Help Desk Institute of Canada; for five years he was an invited guest speaker at BMC Software Service Desk Express “User Group Meetings” held across North America; and a training event speaker for a national training program on Service Excellence hosted by Services Canada for Learning and Development.
Robert’s persistence and drive won him the prestigious 2009 “Forty Under 40” award, which is presented annually for exceptional business ideas and implementation strategies. For Robert, his greatest business achievement is the team at RjR: “Their efforts, dedication and perseverance are directly responsible for our success.”
Outside of work, Robert is an active member of the Ottawa Rideau Club where civic government and business leaders in the Capital of Canada gather. He also supports community amateur sports programs including football, hockey, basketball and karate. With the Ottawa Chapter of the Bruce Denniston Bone Marrow Society, Robert is a bone marrow/stem cell courier, volunteering his time when travel is needed to pick up donated organs and transport them back to individuals in need.
