After “MS14-080: Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer: December 9, 2014” is applied to a workstation, BMC Service Desk Express users on Internet Explorer 11, may lose the ability to use the Support Staff Assignment feature within Incidents and Work Orders. You will know if you have this update applied if your IE version is listed as 11.0.9600.17240, Update Versions: 11.0.15
Both Microsoft and BMC are aware of the issue now, but until a new fix or workaround is released, you can do one of the following:
1) Uninstall the Microsoft updates listed as KB3008923 and/or KB3020809; or
2) Downgrade to IE 10.x – the listed Security Update will not be a problemIE
