Please note, Apple has released a statement advising users of firmware issues that can negatively impact macOS systems running Monterey 12.0.1 – please find more information below. Although Apple has fixed these bugs and will be releasing the updated firmware in their next macOS Monterey 12.1 release, they are recommending users wait until macOS Monterey 12.1 is released before installing new or upgrading their current systems Monterey.
For this reason, WinMagic is also recommending our customers wait until Apple officially releases macOS Monterey 12.1 before installing SecureDoc on these systems. Once 12.1 has been released, WinMagic will complete the certification process and announce the SecureDoc client availability.
Customers should not install new or upgrade existing SD FV2 systems to macOS Monterey 12.0.1 until WinMagic announces the release of our next 8.7 Mac client that supports macOS Monterey 12.1.
