The International Conference for Police and Law Executives was held in Toronto Ontario this year and ran from May 26-28, 2013. This is a great opportunity for RJR to showcase our QSignOn disk encryption, two-factor authentication and card management solution. What would happen if a police executives laptop was stolen from it’s desk? What about a police officers computer stolen from it’s cruiser? With the QSignOn security solution, their computers would not only lock-down but also encrypt the data stored on the computer, so that it is rendered useless, even to the best “hackers.”

At the conference we were able to demonstrate, with our laptops and smart cards, how simply removing the card from the built-in card reader, would lock down the system in seconds. We also had the pleasure of meeting many Police Chiefs and top executives in the police forces around the world.

I would be lying if I didn’t mention the other highlights of browsing through the latest and greatest police equipment and meeting some very friendly and extremely intelligent fire arm detecting dogs.
