Thursday May 23, 2013 marked the 25th anniversary of the Bruce Denniston Society. As most of you know, the Bruce Denniston Society is closely connected with the RCMP, as Bruce Denniston was a RCMP officer before his battle with cancer. It was very fitting for the Society to have organized a private showing of the famous RCMP Musical Ride performance for such a milestone. Long with volunteers, members of the Board of Directors, the Society, Delegates and those who have recently donated and been involved with the society, we were invited to attend this event. Following the Musical Ride was a lovely reception where some powerful words were shared both on the society’s success and where the future is taking us.
RJR Innovations being very involved with this charity, is always happy and grateful to attend such events and show our ongoing support. We also had the privilege of personally meeting the Commissioner. As a token of our appreciation to the Ottawa Senators who have donated some recent items as a silent auction item at the Bruce Denniston Annal Golf Tournament, we were able to invite Aaron Nussey and Ryley Scott as our guests as well.
