In late March, BMC Software released BMC Remedyforce version 20.14.01.
RJR has gone through this new product release and we have dissected what we found to be important in a quick summary:

Custom Incident Console Layouts

BMC has added a new feature allowing administrators to create and define their own custom layouts for the incident console. This significant new feature will now allow administrators to control who sees what layouts, and define the sections visibility and order based on each user’s profile.
Expect to see these changes expanded to other modules starting with the spring 2014 release.

Lookup filters

Now on the Remedyforce console, Incident Console, and Task Console user will have the ability to add their own filters. In addition administrators have the ability to pre-define filters for users and add mandatory filters to enforce key processes.

BMC Remedyforce CMDB 2.0

BMC has completed a major reworking of the Remedyforce CMDB overhauling how CIs are structured and stored. These sweeping changes provide a wide range of benefits including: Reduced storage pre CI, faster data import/export, easier customization, and a number of usability improvements.

BMC Atrium CMDB Data Import

Remedyforce now supports importing CMDB data directly from BMC Atrium CMDB. Of particular note is support for importing both out-of-the box and custom CMDB relationships.
