RJR Innovations together with BDO attended the second annual Open Véronic DiCaire held at the prestigious Le Mirage de Terrebonne Golf Club, owned by Céline Dion and René Angélil, on July 16, 2012. The tournament is held annually to raise funds for the La Cité collégiale Foundation and the Véronic DiCaire Foundation.
A total of 288 golfers and 40 businesses participated in the fundraiser which raised more than $95,000.00 for the charities. Among the attendees were Canadian singer-songwriter Roch Voisine, French artist Boom Desjardins, Acadian singer Wilfred Lebouthillier and Canadian boxing promoter Yvon Michel. Also present were hockey players Claude Giroux and Daniel Brière from the Philadelphia Flyers, and comedian Patrice Bélanger.
